Review by hotel critic
Stepping into Oscar Gold, I found a blend of modern comfort and a touch of nostalgia. Despite the slightly aged exterior, the recent renovations have breathed new life into the hotel. the rooftop pool offered stunning views, a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring Montes Claros. the themed decor paying homage to the prestigious Oscar awards added a quirky charm to the ambiance. While the breakfast was satisfactory and the amenities met the standard, it is the location that truly shines, right in the heart of downtown. As a Canadian traveler with an appetite for adventure, I found the hotel's positioning ideal for urban exploration. However, for those seeking luxury, the older building might not meet all expectations. Ultimately, if you prioritize location and a cozy retreat over extravagant amenities, Oscar Gold presents a reasonable value proposition. With thoughtful details and a convenient setting, this hotel caters to travelers looking to balance cost and comfort seamlessly.
